The Santa Barbara Zoo is a 501(C)(3) private, non-profit organization. The Zoo relies on the generous contributions of caring people, just like you, to support the mission.

Donate to Save Wildlife
    Other Amt: $ .00

Yes, I would like to save California condors, local frogs, sea otters, and other endangered species by contributing to the Zoo Conservation Fund.

Be a conservation hero by supporting zoo conservation! The Santa Barbara Zoo is dedicated to saving wildlife through education, fieldwork, and research. Support for this program will go to cover equipment and material needs and staffing in the field and on-site.

If you would like to donate to the Snowy Plover Project, please use this option and indicate it in the notes/honorarium section! Thank you!

Donate to Purchase Toys for the Animals
    Other Amt: $ .00

Yes, I would like to enrich the lives of the Zoo animals with a donation to the Animal Enrichment Fund.

The health and welfare of the Zoo animals is the Zoo's top priority. In addition to the general care and feed of the animals, the Zoo keepers regularly develop new activities to keep the animals physically and mentally stimulated. The idea is to give the animals items (i.e. toys) that they will "play" with, encouraging the types of behaviors that they would naturally display in the wild.

You can also go directly to our Amazon Wish List and pick out your own items: http://www.amazon.com/gp/registry/wishlist/?ie=UTF8&cid=A2YNDC308UBBU9.

Make a General Donation
    Other Amt: $ .00

Yes, I would like to make a general donation to the Santa Barbara Zoo!

Undesignated and general donations support the day-to-day operations of the Zoo from medical examinations for the animals to keeping the grounds green - it's all in a day's operation at the Zoo!

Donate to Send a Child to Camp
    Other Amt: $ .00

Yes, I would like to send a child in need to learn about the wonderful world of animals and nature in a fun, safe, and educational environment by donating to the Zoo Camp Scholarship Fund!

The Zoo's award-winning Zoo Camp program has enriched the lives of children for generations. However, there are many children in the Santa Barbara area who are missing out on this incredible experience simply because their family cannot afford it. Give a gift that will have a lasting impression in a child's life - send a child to a week of extended-day Zoo Camp.

  • Send four children to camp for $1,180
  • Send three children to camp for $885
  • Send two children to camp for $590
  • Send one child to camp for $295

Donate to Sponsor a Class
    Other Amt: $ .00

Yes, I would like to make a difference in the lives of students at-risk by sponsoring an educational Zoo day for a class.

ZOO4U sponsorships allow a class of elementary school students attending a Title 1 school (schools serving a higher number of children recognized as economically disadvantaged and/or otherwise at-risk) to visit the Zoo for a day. Your support will help cover the admission cost and provide educational and cultural enrichment for children who otherwise would not have the opportunity to see, hear, and smell Zoo animals in person.

  • Send four classes to the Zoo for $1,008
  • Send two classes to the Zoo for $500
  • Send a class to the Zoo for $252
  • Send a student to the Zoo for $9
